Pastor Wilson’s view on church membership is this. “Hope Temple does not have members. We have owners.” Members are just part of something” An Owner is also part of something but goes a bit further to denote ownership and responsibility. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-19; Then Jesus came to them and said,” All authority in Heaven and on Earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” It takes owners to make this happen to be the hands, the feet, and the voice of God. To own your part in this and to accept the responsibility to do it to the best of your ability; whatever that part may be. Hope Temple is looking for owners not members.
